Fiat 500L at the 2012 Geneva Auto Show
Drawing on the success of the pint-sized Fiat 500, Fiat introduces the 500L, a larger and less charming sibling to the popular B-segment hatch. On the outside, it gains two doors, with a D-pillar treatment mimicking a Mini Cooper Countryman, and a bizarre see-through A-pillar up front. The interior is far more conventional, especially compared to the playful styling of the beloved Cinquecento. Launching in Europe at the end of this year, the 500L comes with a choice of three different powerplants: the new 0.9-liter TwinAir, a 1.4-liter gasoline engine and a 1.3-liter turbodiesel.
