Hyundai i-oniq concept at the 2012 Geneva Auto Show
It seems the Chevy Volt has more fans among automakers than ever, given the number showing concepts based on electric power combined with a liquid-fuel generator for long trips. Hyundai joins the ranks at the 2012 Geneva Auto Show with the i-oniq, which seats four, can travel up to 434 miles and needs a copy editor stat. It’s powered by a 108-horsepower electric motor as well as a 1.0 liter 3-cylinder engine, and can travel up to 74 miles in electric-only mode.
