Trend to Try: Botanicals
2011 may have been the year of leopard print, but if the florals forecast at the Spring ’12 shows is any indication, 2012 is going to be all about bold, full-bodied botanicals on everything from silky dresses to suit separates.

2011 was buzzing with the Versace for H&M collab, but this year the mass retailer may just outdo itself by bringing Marni‘s jacquard knits and bold graphic prints in stores. Keep your eyes out for this must-have collection.
Designer to Watch: Mary Katrantzou
The Greek-born designer has an optimistic, whimsical sense that translates into beautifully crafted kaleidoscope prints on the runway. Now, with a celebrity fan base that includes Alexa Chung, Keira Knightley, and Hailee Steinfeld and a capsule collection for Topshop out this Spring, 2012 may just be her biggest year yet.
Must-Have Add-On: The Earring
Last year may have been all about the arm party or the statement necklace, but this season we’re giving our ears a little love via pretty, bold, and embellished earrings.
