  2. Vocal Variety<\/strong>: Cats have a wide range of vocalizations\u2014over 100 different sounds! They can meow, purr, hiss, chirp, and even trill, often using specific sounds to communicate with their humans.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Sleep Champions<\/strong>: Cats can sleep between 12 to 16 hours a day, and some may sleep even more. They are crepuscular, meaning they are most active during dawn and dusk.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

  7. Tail Communication<\/strong>: A cat\u2019s tail position and movement can communicate a lot about their mood. For instance, a high tail often signifies happiness, while a puffed-up tail indicates fear or aggression.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Social Grooming<\/strong>: Cats engage in social grooming, or allogrooming, where they groom each other as a way to bond and establish social hierarchies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. Ancient Companions<\/strong>: Cats were domesticated around 9,000 years ago in the Near East, originally drawn to human settlements due to the presence of rodents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  10. Feline Scent Marking<\/strong>: Cats have scent glands on their cheeks, paws, and forehead. They rub against objects to mark their territory and communicate with other cats.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
