SOMNIA — Assault on the Dream Realms

Every night, a child falls asleep somewhere. Tonight, you fall in with them.

Beneath the pillow lies a universe. SOMNIA drops you into the pilot seat of a crescent-moon gondola — cloud-puff gunwales, a golden dreamcatcher swaying from the prow, a moon-lantern burning low — and launches you across 75 realms of living dreamscape in a full 3D first-person shooter built entirely for the browser. Drift over the pastel islands of the COTTON CLOUD SEA, race the constellations of STARLIGHT PLAINS, scale the cushion towers of PILLOW FORTRESS, weave between the melting clocks of the NIGHTMARE ATTIC, and burst through THE WAKING GATE into golden dawn. No installs. No downloads. Just close your eyes and fly.

At the heart of the dream beats its signature system: the world breathes between two states. In DREAM MODE, skies are soft, lullabies hum, and everything pays standard. Then the lights bruise purple and NIGHTMARE MODE rolls in — every horror quickens 25%, the fog thickens, the compass blushes pink… and every single point you score pays DOUBLE. The realm flips on its own every 25–40 seconds, but true dreamers don’t wait. Press E and LUCID FLIP: seize the dream, force the switch yourself, and lock reality for ten glorious seconds. Deliberately dive into nightmare to farm ×2 treasure, then flip back to dream the instant it gets too hot. It’s the purest risk-reward gamble ever wrapped in cotton candy.

And the dream defends itself. Thirteen wonders and terrors drift these skies: fluffy SHEEPDRIFTS counting you as they pass, wing-patterned NIGHT MOTHS, PILLOW GHOSTS that pop out in dive-bombing flocks, ribbon-bodied SERPENTS, floating BUBBLE MINES, tin TOY SOLDIERS, crescent-crowned MOONDANCERS, reaching SHADOW HANDS, violet-maned NIGHTMARE STEEDS, tick-tocking CLOCK OWLS, swooping BLANKET WRAITHS that prowl, pause, and then charge your moon, pastel DREAM DRAKES, and the hollow-eyed, ring-haloed INSOMNIAC. Your lullaby arsenal answers: the rapid STAR SLINGER, homing MARBLE SEEKERS, the DREAMWEAVE LANCE that shifts through every pastel hue as it cuts, lobbed LULLABY music-notes, and expanding SNOWFLAKE RINGS — crowned by DREAMBURST, a supernova of sweet dreams in three chaining shockwaves, and the SNOW GLOBE, eight seconds of held-breath bullet-time at double score.

But the deadliest thing in any dream is morning. Every so often, a colossal twin-bell WAKE-UP ALARM drifts onto the battlefield, ticking down from eight seconds, its bells trembling faster as the fuse burns. Shoot it — SILENCE it — for +5,000 spoils and a surge of burst charge. Let it ring and the shockwave tears 35 hull from your moon as the whole world shudders. It blinks red on the dream compass, louder with every tick. Ten silences earn you the greatest badge in the game: SNOOZE BUTTON. Snooze is not an option. Silencing is.

Every fifth realm, a DREAM TITAN turns in its sleep: THE SANDMAN with his star-tipped wand and dream-sand sack, the six-headed KING NIGHTMARE, MORPHEUS UNBOUND, LUNA ECLIPSE, THE DREAM EATER, all the way to THE WAKING WORLD itself. Untangle the four golden DREAM CATCHERS binding them and the HEART OF DREAMS lies exposed — worth +150,000 spoils per class. Between the battles, the dream keeps paying: golden WOOL STARS drift past for fly-through collection (+15,000), a MOON BARGE occasionally sails across the entire sky on silver wake — board it before it drifts away for +25,000 and a guaranteed prize — and the tan pickup wakes a TEDDY GUARDIAN, a battle-stuffed bear with a red bowtie who rides your gunwale for fifteen seconds hurling golden button-sparks at anything that dares approach. Stuffed. Brave. Effective.

You dream with five spare moons per slumber, an auto-evade instinct that reads blanket-wraith swoops for you on mobile, and full helm-and-starlight command on desktop — anywhere, any screen, nothing to download. Combos climb to ×10 and stack with Snow Globe ×2, Spoils ×2, and Nightmare ×2 — a theoretical ceiling of ×80 for dreamers bold enough to chase it. PILLOW FIGHT chains detonate for rapid multi-burials, GOLDEN FLEECE elites pay five times over, and every survived realm tallies its dawn ledger: clear bonus, SOUND SLEEPER perfection, surviving moons, accuracy, and deep-nap speed. Ten badges trace your legend from BEDTIME STORY to LUCID DREAMER to MASTER OF DREAMS, the Dreamscape Map charts every realm you’ve conquered, and the World Ranking Dreamers Top 100 waits: qualify with your spoils, write your name in stars, and glow beside the greatest dreamers who ever slept.

Soft, luminous, and dangerously replayable — SOMNIA is the dreamscape odyssey the web has been waiting for. The music box is winding down. The sheep are jumping the fence. And somewhere in the attic of the mind, an alarm clock just started ticking.

Fall asleep. Flip the dream. Silence the morning. 🌙
