At the heart of the dream beats its signature system: the world breathes between two states. In DREAM MODE, skies are soft, lullabies hum, and everything pays standard. Then the lights bruise purple and NIGHTMARE MODE rolls in — every horror quickens 25%, the fog thickens, the compass blushes pink… and every single point you score pays DOUBLE. The realm flips on its own every 25–40 seconds, but true dreamers don’t wait. Press E and LUCID FLIP: seize the dream, force the switch yourself, and lock reality for ten glorious seconds. Deliberately dive into nightmare to farm ×2 treasure, then flip back to dream the instant it gets too hot. It’s the purest risk-reward gamble ever wrapped in cotton candy.
And the dream defends itself. Thirteen wonders and terrors drift these skies: fluffy SHEEPDRIFTS counting you as they pass, wing-patterned NIGHT MOTHS, PILLOW GHOSTS that pop out in dive-bombing flocks, ribbon-bodied SERPENTS, floating BUBBLE MINES, tin TOY SOLDIERS, crescent-crowned MOONDANCERS, reaching SHADOW HANDS, violet-maned NIGHTMARE STEEDS, tick-tocking CLOCK OWLS, swooping BLANKET WRAITHS that prowl, pause, and then charge your moon, pastel DREAM DRAKES, and the hollow-eyed, ring-haloed INSOMNIAC. Your lullaby arsenal answers: the rapid STAR SLINGER, homing MARBLE SEEKERS, the DREAMWEAVE LANCE that shifts through every pastel hue as it cuts, lobbed LULLABY music-notes, and expanding SNOWFLAKE RINGS — crowned by DREAMBURST, a supernova of sweet dreams in three chaining shockwaves, and the SNOW GLOBE, eight seconds of held-breath bullet-time at double score.
But the deadliest thing in any dream is morning. Every so often, a colossal twin-bell WAKE-UP ALARM drifts onto the battlefield, ticking down from eight seconds, its bells trembling faster as the fuse burns. Shoot it — SILENCE it — for +5,000 spoils and a surge of burst charge. Let it ring and the shockwave tears 35 hull from your moon as the whole world shudders. Untangle the four golden DREAM CATCHERS binding them and the HEART OF DREAMS lies exposed — worth +150,000 spoils per class. Between the battles, the dream keeps paying: golden WOOL STARS drift past for fly-through collection (+15,000), a MOON BARGE occasionally sails across the entire sky on silver wake — board it before it drifts away for +25,000 and a guaranteed prize — and the tan pickup wakes a TEDDY GUARDIAN, a battle-stuffed bear with a red bowtie who rides your gunwale for fifteen seconds hurling golden button-sparks at anything that dares approach.
