2018 BMW X7 SUV – Interior Exterior

It seems to share the same grille kidney design as the BMW Concept 8 Series but larger and taller.
The grille is flanked on either side by a new slim headlight design which also seem to have been inspired by the Concept 8.

We loved the Concept 8 Series in particular the grille and headlights but here they look gaudy and out of place.

This is not even the biggest problem with the car.

The air intakes, and new bumper create this unusual boxy design.

These elements look bolted on to what could’ve been a more forgiving exterior design.

It’s a huge seven-seat SUV and BMW wants to give the car a dominating presence on the road but the styling looks to be missing the mark, which is disappointing after the Z4 Concept and Concept 8 Series designs were so good.
