DEADLINE — Ghost Canyon Assault
The 4:10 to Boot Hill just pulled out of the station — and you’re driving.
The maps end where the curses begin. DEADLINE drops you into the cab of the COFFIN EXPRESS — a spectral armored locomotive that doesn’t so much ride the rails as haunt them, flying low through cursed canyons under a bruised sunset sky. Your cockpit is pure weird-west atmosphere: a glowing firebox licking orange light across the floorboards, brass gauges ticking, swaying lanterns, a revolver racked beside a sheriff’s star you definitely didn’t earn. From the amber stone teeth of the DUSK MESA through the green-lantern GHOST TOWN, the lightning-cracked THUNDER BUTTES, the bleached BONE WASTES, all the way to the gold-black rails of the MIDNIGHT DEPOT, you’ll ride a full 3D first-person gunslinger shooter built entirely for the browser — 75 canyon sectors, zero installs, all glory.
At the heart of the ride is the most heart-stopping two-and-a-half seconds in gaming: HIGH NOON. Without warning, the wind dies. A lone STRANGER materializes downrange — black coat, low hat, two red eyes — and a golden ring begins to close around him. Shoot him before the ring collapses and you win the duel: +30,000 QUICK DRAW bounty, free Deadeye time, and a jolt of thunder charge. Hesitate? He draws first — one surgically precise shot into your boiler — and vanishes in a puff of sulfurous smoke, taking your pride with him. Win ten duels and the canyon crowns you QUICKDRAW ACE. And here’s the pro secret: DEADEYE bullet-time slows the duel clock too. Panic-slowing time to line up the perfect shot? That’s not cheating. That’s strategy.
The canyon doesn’t only send duelists. Thirteen kinds of damned ride against the Express: rolling TUMBLEWEEDS, screeching VULTURE WRAITHS, DUST DEVILS that dive-bomb in screaming swarms, hissing RATTLERS, circling HEXDOLLS trailing voodoo volleys, jetpack DESPERADOS with fuse-lit packs, long-coat GUNSLINGERS who snipe faster than thought, sombrero’d BANDIDOS, piano-ghost SALOON SHADES raising spectral glasses, and the dread WENDIGOS — antlered horrors that prowl toward your cab, pause with awful stillness, and then charge. Above them wheel storm-wreathed THUNDERBIRDS and rolling fortress-locomotives called IRON OUTLAWS. And everywhere drift the POWDER KEGS — rolling black barrels with lit fuses that beg to be shot early, because one well-placed bullet turns a keg into a chain-reaction firework that takes half the horde with it.
Your arsenal answers in five voices of righteous thunder: the REVOLVER REPEATER fanning lead like a card sharp, DYNAMITE SEEKERS hissing on rope-trailing fuses, the eerie green WILDFIRE LANCE that pierces everything it touches, lobbed COACH GUN shells, and the LASSO RING that snaps outward in a widening shockwave. Stack on THUNDER CALL — three storm rings that judge the entire battlefield — and DEADEYE time-dilation at double score. Every fifth sector, a WANTED TITAN rides out to collect: EL MUERTO, THE HANGMAN, BONE BILL CASSIDY, THE PALE MARSHAL, THE GRAVEYARD EXPRESS, and at the end of the trail, DEATH ITSELF. Shoot the four glowing WANTED STARS off their coats, and the BLACK HEART lies exposed for a +150,000 bounty per class.
Between the gunfights, the frontier pays the bold. GOLD NUGGETS glint along the trail for ride-through collection (+15,000 and thunder charge). A GOLD STAGECOACH occasionally rumbles across the entire horizon — rob it before it escapes for +25,000 and a guaranteed pickup. The bone relic summons a GHOST HOUND — a spectral dog that lopes through the air beside your cab for fifteen seconds, snapping bone-shards at anything that dares approach. Good dog. Dead dog. Extremely effective. Duster wards, snake oil, spare engines, arsenal upgrades, bounty-doubling whiskeys, gold magnets — the frontier arms you between waves, and the end-of-sector ledger pays in full: clear bonus, NOT A SCRATCH perfection, surviving engines, accuracy, and fast-ride speed, stacking your plunder toward the millions.
You ride with five spare locomotives per run, an auto-evade instinct that reads wendigo charges for you on mobile, and full throttle-and-iron control on desktop — playable anywhere, on any screen, with nothing to download. Combos climb to ×10, POWDER CHAINS detonate for rapid multi-burials, GOLD-CROSSED elites pay five times over, ten badges carve your legend from DUST BITER to MARSHAL to LEGEND OF THE WEST, the Trail Map charts every canyon you’ve conquered, and the World Ranking Posse Top 100 waits: qualify with your plunder, sign the ledger, and see your name wanted-posted beside the greatest gunslingers who ever rode.
Dusty, deadly, and endlessly replayable — DEADLINE is the weird-west revenge fantasy the web has been waiting for. The firebox is roaring. The fuses are hissing. And somewhere down the track, a stranger is already checking his watch.
Ride out. Draw fast. Collect everything. ☠
