GRABVERSE
NEON GOGGLE GRAB RUNNER · FIRST-PERSON 3D
Strap on a full-face combat visor, drop into a living neon arena, and reach out and tear the score straight out of the air. GRABVERSE is a first-person 3D grab runner built for one obsession: the perfect combo chain.
You are a Grab-Runner — a licensed scavenger wired into a high-tech goggle rig, dropped behind an energy wall in the middle of a holographic megacity. Everything around you is worth points: cyan energy gems, plasma rubies, gold cores, shields, overdrive boosters and multiplier chips, all floating, drifting and glowing above a grid floor that pulses to a synthesised soundtrack. You don’t shoot them. You don’t collect them by walking over them. You grab them — aiming your reticle and firing a tractor beam that yanks the prize straight into your gloved hands while your combo counter screams upward.
That beam is the whole game, and it is dangerously satisfying. Every pickup within four seconds of the last one grows your COMBO, and combo tiers multiply everything you touch — ×2, ×3, ×5, ×8, all the way to a blistering ×12 at sixty hits. Beam-grabbing instead of walking into an item pays a bonus. Defusing a live Void Mine with the beam — the very thing that kills you on contact — pays a fortune. Dashing into a boss plasma orb parries it for massive points and real damage. Miss the timing and the chain dies. Chase it and the numbers on your HUD stop looking like a score and start looking like a phone number.
The arena fights back. Void Mines drift through the traffic lanes, Seeker drones hunt your heat signature, and every fifth stage a WARDEN boss unfolds above the reactor — orbiting, firing spread volleys, dropping expanding shockwave rings you have to jump or dash, and summoning hazards while you sprint for Power Cores, the only thing that can crack its shell. Push it past half health and it ENRAGES: faster shots, double shockwaves, no mercy. Kill it and the bounty lands with a slow-motion explosion worth level × 60,000 points.
Five full-face visors are waiting in the locker, and each one is a genuine build, not a skin. Neon Viper stretches your grab range. Crimson Warlord hands you a sixth life and a free shield but taxes your score. Arctic Phantom makes you fast enough to outrun the clock. Void Reaper pays +40% on everything while shortening your timer. Solar Emperor is the greedy crown jewel: +65% score, four lives, eighteen percent less time. Pick a new one before every single stage — the visor you choose literally becomes your first-person view, complete with its own etched metal frame, lens tint, scanlines and HUD glow.
Progress is real and it is long. 120 hand-tuned stages across twelve themed chapters — Neon District, Cryo Core, Magma Forge, Viral Grid, Astro Docks, Quantum Rift, Solar Spire, Void Sector, Chrome Heaven, Omega Core, Prism Ascent and the Endless Horizon — each one recolouring the entire world, from the grid floor and energy wall to the skyline towers and the nebula overhead. Clear a stage to bank one to three stars, unlock the next node on the level map, and keep pushing into infinite procedural escalation past 120. Five lives per run, generous retries, and a pause menu that always gives you a way out: resume, restart, change visor, jump to the map, or read the help.
And then there is the leaderboard. Finish a run, type your pilot handle, pick your flag, and your score is thrown into the Global Top 100 against a worldwide field of rival runners. Beat rank #100 to qualify, beat your own best to climb, and watch the live ticker on the main menu brag about everybody else’s combos until you silence it.
“Move the mouse. The reticle follows. Click. The gem rips across the arena into your palm, the combo ticks to ×8, the music drops — and you immediately realise you have not blinked in ninety seconds.”
◆ WHY PLAYERS STICK
One-thumb, ten-thousand-point skill ceiling. Click, drag and dash are all it takes to play; beam-chaining a ×12 combo through a minefield while a Warden enrages is a different sport entirely.
Numbers that feel enormous. Level scaling, multipliers, combo tiers, grab bonuses, defuse bounties, parries, time bonuses, no-damage bonuses and boss bounties stack multiplicatively — late runs print scores in the hundreds of millions.
Risk-reward everywhere. The deadliest object on the field is also one of the most valuable, if you dare to grab it instead of dodge it.
Runs that respect your time. Five lives, instant restarts, checkpoint-style stage select, and auto-pause if your tab loses focus — you never lose progress to a phone call.
Built to be shown off. A glowing full-face visor POV, screen shake, hit-flash, particle bursts, slow-motion boss kills, floating score popups and a thumping synthwave score generated live in the browser.
◆ UNDER THE HOOD
GRABVERSE is a single self-contained HTML5 file — no installer, no plugin, no account, no waiting. It runs on WebGL through Three.js, is fully responsive from a 4-inch phone to an ultrawide monitor, and never asks you to scroll. Every pixel of artwork is generated procedurally at runtime with canvas and inline SVG: the nebula sky, the neon grid, the holographic skyline, the glow sprites, the pickup icons and all five goggle visors. That means zero external image dependencies and 100% copyright-free, royalty-free art. Even the audio is synthesised on the fly with the Web Audio API — no sound files, no licensing, instant load. Progress, high scores and leaderboard entries persist locally, and a reserved 468×60 slot sits neatly at the top of the page for monetisation without ever touching the play area.
